This page contains articles written by me as I began my journey from novice to the level I have now reached. It does not intend to imply that I now know everything, because I learn something new every day when it comes to working on and with computers. These articles are only written to try and break some of the barriers people put up when thinking of learning to use a computer and to work on it themselves. I began learning when I had to keep taking my computer to a computer store for repairs that were directly related to my inexperience. The cost per hour and some suggestions by the resident geek ( I use this term with respect only ) to try and learn a few simple things that I could do on my own. Here we are about 12 years later and I am still learning but I did save money. You may not want to achieve the same level but when simple things crop up wouldn't it be nice to be able to fix them on your own. What a sense of accomplishment that would give you.

So to make it simple for you here are a few articles to smooth the way. Use them as best you can, but don't forget THERE ARE NO STUPID QUESTIONS just the ones not asked.
